Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition
Posted on24. Jul, 2010 by admin.
Until now, mobile phones equipped with analog TV receiver are usually china-made replicas or a rather incapable handset that boast TV viewing capability as its main selling point. This is no longer the case though, because the new Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition has been officially released. This marvelous phone offers not only DVB-H TV receiver but also a lot of other features that will keep you entertained while on the go.
The Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition is designed to offer mobile TV viewing no matter where you are. The built-in DVB-H TV receiver is capable of receiving most European TV broadcast as well as extraterrestrial TV channels, which means you can catch your favorite TV shows anytime you want.
The exterior design is also sleek and slim; no need to worry about bulky handsets at all, this is a stylish Nokia phone with high-quality finish from top to bottom. A slide-out keypad is provided to make texting and dialing very easy to do.
To make watching TV on this handset even more enjoyable, Nokia equipped the Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition with 2.4″ 16M-color QVGA display offering excellent sunlight legibility. The only downside is the operating system used; this phone uses Symbian S40 6th Edition and not the Symbian S60 5th edition, which means native applications offered for the S60 platform cannot be used on this phone.
Other than the slight downside mentioned earlier, this phone is perfect in every way. If you are looking for a simple mobile phone that enables you to catch TV shows no matter where you are, the Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition is indeed the perfect phone for you.

Nokia C5
Posted on25. May, 2010 by admin.
I love how top mobile phone manufacturers release simple yet capable phones every once in a while. Sony Ericsson’s W and C series are more than capable lines of quality phones, while the Nokia Classic series is perfect for basic users. Recently, Nokia transformed its Classic line into the all-new Nokia C series. The newly released Nokia C5 is a perfect example how a simple mobile phone can still cope with all your needs perfectly.
The simple exterior design might be deceiving. This is not just an ordinary phone at all. For starters, this phone’s data connectivity is one of the best there is, supporting 10Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA internet connection. You can also use the phone as modem and connect your laptop or PC to the internet.
I also have to say that the Nokia C5’s 2.2″ 16M-color QVGA display is very impressive. The screen is perfectly visible even under heavy sunlight. Pair the marvelous screen with Symbian OS S60 3.2 user interface and you will have one fluid user experience to enjoy in an instant.
Another good addition to the phone is the built-in GPS receiver and free lifetime voice-guided navigation license using Nokia OVI Maps. The navigation supports top cities all around the world, which means you can use this phone while traveling abroad just as easily as you would use it while cruising through your hometown.
Added 3.5mm audio jack, superb audio quality, and convenient media player make this phone also perfect for listening to your favorite tunes and seeing video files.
